This fluted ceramic planter comes with a complete grow kit, featuring an immersion hydroponic setup that wicks water to the flowers as needed. Simply add water, and let the system handle the rest. It combines the benefits of hydroponics with a beautiful planter, eliminating the guesswork from growing. This makes it the perfect gift for both novice and seasoned plant enthusiasts.
Included in the kit are non-GMO Zinnia Dahlia, Daisy Daydream, and Morning Glory seeds, a stainless steel immersion pot, grow medium, plant food, and an instruction manual. The flower seeds typically take 10-20 days to sprout, and they require at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily to germinate successfully. Once bloomed, the flowers can remain happily in their grow kit pot for the entire season, with no need for transplanting.
For optimal growth, the flowers should be placed in an unobstructed window facing south, west, or east (southwest is best). During winter months or in areas with limited natural light, a grow light can be used as a supplement.
The ceramic planter, immersion pot, and grow medium can all be reused. Simply rinse them with hot water, add new seeds, and use soil or coco pith to help the seeds germinate. Don't forget to feed the plants with a water-soluble fertilizer. Alternatively, you can repurpose the beautiful planter for other houseplants or garden flowers.
