We are a group of creative and curious gardeners who want to enrich people's lives with plants. By making our own hydroponic system that hadn't yet existed in a seamless, beautiful and accessible way, we grew foolproof plants and even maintained our self-esteem (after a few tries). Determined to find a solution, we turned to our windowsills and put pen to paper. The fresh, homegrown herbs that we desired were not supported by our yard-less home and busy lifestyle. From the brand, we got our start by being really into eating (who's not?).

Inspired by biophilic design, we believe every product we make should channel nature and fit beautifully into any home. Our approach solves for the challenges of modern plant care with simple-to-use products adapted to space, light & seasonal constraints. Through plants, moods are boosted, air is purified, and homes become a calming oasis. When you tend to a plant, you tend to yourself.

One of the simplest ways to start your self-care green routine is with one of our Grow Kits. Everything's included, just add water! Choose from herbs, flowers, succulents and more. Our self-watering herb kits feature a vintage-inspired mason jar outfitted with a passive hydroponic system known as "wicking," which brings water and nutrients up to the plant's roots. So whether you forget to water, overwater, or both, we've got you covered. This year-round indoor planter comes equipped with everything you'll need to start growing, just add water and set in a sunny window.

Herb seeds take 7-14 days to sprout, and will be ready to start harvesting in 2+ months. Continuous harvesting will encourage a bushy plant and greater yield. Herbs require at least 6 hours of direct light daily, and should be put in an unobstructed window that faces south, west or east. During winter months you can supplement with a grow light. The stainless steel net pot and recycled glass grow medium can both be reused—simply rinse with hot water. Add new seeds and use soil or coco pith to help seeds germinate. Use a water soluble fertilizer and follow its instructions.

What you touch, we've touched. We source as much as we can domestically and prioritize manufacturing, assembling and shipping from our hometown. This is important because it supports the community far beyond our walls. In addition to economic stability for our employees and their families, we spend heavily with local companies – from printers to packaging suppliers to the food trucks that show up at our dock to feed our team. When finished goods are imported from overseas, we lose the beneficial ripple effect.
