The OXO Good Grips Prep & Go Container with Colander allows you to rinse, strain, and store your favorite fruit or veggies all in one convenient vessel. Simply pull out this container from your cabinet and you can get to work, leaving everything else undisturbed.
Take a heaping handful of strawberries, for example. Use the removable basket to rinse them under the faucet, then strain them over the sink. Afterward, just nest the basket right inside the container to keep the berries elevated and separate from their own juices.
The basket may be the star of the show, but the lid shines as well. It features a leakproof design thanks to a silicone gasket and locking clips. There's also a see-through window, enabling you to easily spot your snack inside the fridge. To achieve a secure seal, press firmly in the middle of the lid, then engage the latches. You'll hear the air being released as you press the lid down. Once all the air has been released, lock the latches on the side of the container to fully seal it.
If you ever need to replace the gasket, the process is straightforward. Press the four corners down, then press the rest of the gasket into place, ensuring it's fully and evenly secured.
